1. Write simple and sort as possible. People don’t want to read too much information in one paragraph. Try to have a paragraph with two or three sentences. If you have long content, you can provide a detail page and just give brief description on main page. If user want to read detail, they can just click link for detail information.
2. Use title or headline to make your pages more readable. It is also recommended technique for optimizing you page (Search Engine Optimization).
3. Build good navigation on your page. So user will easy to navigate to another related document. Using list will easier to scan your page quickly.
4. Do not use underline to web text, because underline is used for hyperlinks. Don’t make your user confused.
5. Write as you are on conversation with your visitor. Better to talk personally rather than talk to a group of people. User will have more attention if you are talk in personal conversation. Use word “you” and “I” to refer people.
6. Focus on one theme on your site. It will help you to build a community. Because a group of people that has same topic will easier to understand each other.
7. Tell your stories or your real life. People easier to follow your idea if it is related to something real.
8. Read through your new content. Think if your user can follow your idea. Check for misspell. If you are not fluent with english, you can hire someone to check your grammar.
