Another story about living in Jogja or Yogyakarta or now Jogjakarta, is about the food in Jogjakarta. There is a food that you should know that originally made in Jogja, they called Gudeg. It is a jackfruit caprice, dominantly have sweet taste. As all food that made in Jogjakarta that always has sweet taste.

Beside this wellknown food among Indonesian people, i have one favorit place that support my food need in Jogja when i living on there. We ussually said Burjo, it is abbreviation of Bubur Kacang Hijau. Ah you should know about it, right?

It is very easy to find burjo seller around Jogjakarta and it is favorit place for student or worker that live in Jogja. I like to go to burjo for find fast food when i got hungry at night or in unregularly eating time. The frequency is up when the days is near campus examination. You know why? because i study until midnight and ussually i got hungry at that time.

The burjo seller ussually come from West area of java like Kuningan and Bandung. Beside main menu they also sell “indomie rebus” and “indomie goreng”. We can request for egg also with indomie. Simple but quit enough for mine.

That all short story about burjo breakfast in Jogja. Living in jogja isn’t hard, right? Living cost is more cheaper than another big city in Indonesia. So don’t worry about living in jogja.
