About domain and sub domain contest rules
I am sorry to hear chickenseoup saying farewell to Busby SEO Test Contest. the problem is that the contest judge has confirm that his entrance page cannot win the contest because his domain name contain contest keywords. Me or maybe some of you also think that we are not allowed to use domain that contain whole Busby SEO Test keywords. But actually we cannot use all words in all ways on domain or sub domain name. So because chickenseoup domain contain words SEO, then this domain is not eligible to follow the contest.
Busby SEO Test Rules: all participant must follow
All participant of Busby SEO Test contest must follow these tules :
- use ethical SEO techniques because judges will review your pages and avoid using black hat seo techniques.
- no illegal content such as pornography, race or discrimination and others illegal content.
- do not include keyphrase on domain name on sub domain name. it is also valid for a words in Busby SEO Test keywords, don’t use any ways of Busby, SEO, or Test words combine with other words.
- but it is allowed to use a folder within domain that contain the keyphrase
- you must registered your entrance page. follow this link to register your entrance page for contest. you also need to register before submit a URL for entrance page. Registration is free for all people.
- all entrance page must have backlink to contest site with this text : “Participant in the Busby Web Solutions Search Engine Optimisation Challenge“. Use font arial 10 for this text.
- Even you can optimize many pages for top 5, but only one prize you can win for this contest.
- If you are an employees, franchisees, and licences of busby, then you cannot register for this contest.

- End result is the highest position on 31st January 2009 (12:00 midday), Perth, Western Australia
