update third month of December 2008
The contest become closer now to end of date. There are about 1 and a half month to finish this Busby SEO Test contest. Within outgoing month i believe many participant has new knowledge of how to optimize your web pages to be ranking well on Search Engine Result Page. From novice to professional seo expert has shown on some participant like carissaputri done.
I want to report to you about position update on third month of December 2008. For top ten position there are no big changes. First until third position still hold by pinayspeak, imfreakz, and dstudiobali. Other top ten participant also no changes. It seem they are too strong to defeated. My position is on 37 as falling again after reach 24 rank on google.
But one point that i notice is this seo contest has make the internet is polluted with this keyword. Every where i go, i got caught by Busby SEO Test comment on a blog. Social bookmarking site like delicious, mixx, and Digg has been poluted also with this keyword. More bad is some participant left a comment message is to short and it is look like just looking for a backlink.
Comment words like “great post”, “you are amazing”, “thanks”, “thank you for your post”, or just “thx” has putted on many blog. That make the discussion is polluted also. So i think running a seo contest has make the internet and especially for the search engine and the searcher has been disturbed by the dummy content of the contest.
But i appreciate to all participant to create a good content to the searcher. They all focus on the contest topic than posting an article that actually belong to another publisher. I often see it through google alert, some participant is editing an article that published on a newsletter like webpronews or sitepronews. Don’t you think this method is illegal method?
We must stick to Busby SEO Test rules that avoiding the use of illegal technique or method to win this contest. Of course me also some of novice participant would like to have better understanding about optimizing your web pages rank. But we don’t want to learn about illegal technique because that is not the purpose of searcher and google.
So i think Busby must work hard to eliminate the used of illegal technique including editing original fresh content that delivered by a newsletter. If they don’t than i think they are not aware about the searcher needs. So i still keep watching this seo contest on next week with less action for this blog.
Maybe some of you think that i give up for this contest, the answer is “vielleicht ja” “vielleicht nein”. Don’t be confused with the word, it is a germany language meaning “maybe yes” “maybe no”. Because no action doesn’t mean that we are not optimizing, right?, but we wait for the search engine progress for our blog.
