What is Bounce Rate?
I just reading about an article that discuss about Bounce Rate. Bounce Rate is a measurement for web visit. It is a percentage of single visit mean user is visiting your page as entrance page and also exiting on that page also. This value can explain you about how relevant is your landing page and your keyword used.
According to article google probably used this data on their organic search result page. So for Busby SEO Test participant this thing is important to make your site better ranking. Maintain your bounce rate at lower level is good for your ranking.
Try to make your visitor interesting to browse into another pages. Your landing page must be showing them a relevant information according to the keyword used to find your sites. And then build good navigation on that landing pages so visitor like to visit your other page or to get more detail information.
But there are still a question about the used of bounce rate on google algorithm. As we know bounce rate is a value that we get on our web statistic or analytics. The problem now is some site is not using google analytics on their site. So how google get bounce rate data if we don’t place their analytic code on our Busby SEO Test website?
In my opinion this bounce rate factor only help you when you are using google analytics services. For other site that don’t use google analytics they probably won’t getthe benefit of good bounce rate. So do you think bounce rate is used on google algorithm? Comment please
